Our current students are already designing the world of tomorrow.

Let’s give them the tools to do it.

PHOTOSHOP

Photoshop isn’t just for touching up family photos. Many creative careers await students with a functional understanding of typography, color theory, and the standard elements of good graphic design. From book and magazine covers to large scale visual advertisements, Photoshop is a brilliant tool to teach young learners how to express themselves and get their message across.

ILLUSTRATOR

For the more artistically inclined, Illustrator remains the standard tool for digital fine arts creation. With vector-based path graphics Illustrator affords students the opportunity to build a portfolio that includes digital illustration, comics, typography development, and many of the things that Photoshop can also do that require a finer artistic touch. It is yet another tool for students to have in their creative tool belt that will help them express themselves and prepare them for creative careers that require digital media mastery.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Every student has a phone on their camera, but most only use it for selfies. The digital camera remains the best way to capture the magic in the world around them, but do they know the difference between smartphone cameras, point-and-shoots, DSLRs, and mirrorless cameras? Students should have the opportunity to learn camera selection and mechanics, digital asset management, and photo editing with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, along with all of the tips and tricks required to help them become professional photographers.
